Affordable Housing Collaborative
The South Kingstown Affordable Housing Collaborative is an advisory committee to the Town Council and Planning Board. The general purpose of the committee is to assist the Town Council in overseeing the implementation of affordable housing measures identified in the South Kingstown Affordable Housing Study.
Assessment Board of Review
The Assessment Board of Review shall hear and consider the appeal of any property owner concerning the amount of his/her assessed valuation as determined by the Town Assessor. The Board shall keep an accurate record of its proceedings and decisions, which shall be available for public inspection.
Bicycle-Pedestrian Advisory Committee
The Bicycle-Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) promotes walking and biking across the community, including but not limited to incorporating the consideration of the needs of cyclists and pedestrians in the Town’s circulation system and infrastructure through education and outreach efforts involving town officials, residents and commercial entities.
Building Code and Minimum Housing Board of Appeals
Building Code Board of Appeals - established by the Town Council on June 27, 1977, in accordance with the State Building Code to hear appeals from aggrieved parties regarding the interpretation, requirements, direction or failure to act under the State Code by the Building Official. Minimum Housing Board of Appeals - authorized to hear and decide appeals from compliance as noted in the Minimum Housing Code.
The General Assembly enacted legislation in 1960 authorizing Rhode Island cities and towns to establish Conservation Commissions.
Economic Development Committee
To promote a stable and diversified local economy and enhance the quality of life in South Kingstown, the Town Council appoints an Economic Development Committee to serve in an advisory capacity to the Planning Board and the Town Council.
Historic District Commission
The Historic District Commission reviews plans which would affect the exterior or location of structures within any historic district within the Town.

This calendar will provide a schedule of events for Parks and Recreation sponsored events.
The Planning Board is engaged in land use development management, which includes a broad spectrum of activities concerning land use, development and the regulations which govern the process.
The Recreation Commission was created to administer the Town's recreation program.

Saugatucket Veterans' Memorial Commission
The Saugatucket Veterans' Memorial Park Commission was re-established by the Town Council on June 23, 2014.
School Building Committee
Town Charter Section 4820(K): "Whenever a new school building or an addition to an existing building shall be planned, a building committee shall be formed consisting of seven (7) members of whom three (3) shall be appointed by the school committee including at least one from its own number and four (4) shall be qualified electors appointed by the town council. The school building committee shall be responsible for the planning and supervision of all such construction. The building committee shall continue in office during the construction and until the formal acceptance by the town of the building or addition, or until discharged by vote of both the school committee and the town council." Membership of the School Building Committee must meet both Town Charter and Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) membership requirements. In order to meet both local and State membership requirements, the Committee consists of a combined 14 members, with seven members appointed by the Town Council, six members appointed by the School Committee, and one member, the RIDE required community member, appointed jointly by the Town Council and the School Committee. It is noted that there are fourteen members of the Committee, but only thirteen are voting members.

Stepping Stone Preschool
This calendar will list all events relating to the Stepping Stone Preschool.
The Sustainability Committee promotes the incorporation of green technologies and behaviors across the community and makes recommendations to the Town Council on sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, energy conservation, conversion to greener energy sources, and use of new technologies and green infrastructure.
Technical Review Committee
The Technical Review Committee conducts technical reviews of applications for subdivisions, land development projects, and development plan review, as well as other technical land use and infrastructure matters as may be referred to it.
