PUBLIC SERVICE APPOINTMENTS

 The Town Council is seeking applications from a diverse group of citizens and would like to encourage women and minorities to apply for appointment as members of the following board:

SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE which monitors the planning and construction activities associated with the School District’s plan to make repairs, improvements, renovations, and/or constructions to school facilities, needs to meet both state and local membership requirements, as defined by Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) and the Town’s Charter. 

All qualified residents with experience in architecture, engineering, construction or construction contracting, and education are encouraged to apply for membership on the Committee. The deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

Applications are available at the Town Clerk’s Office or on our website at www.southkingstownri.com along with the Town Council Rules of Commission, Committee and Board Appointment procedures, under the Government tab.
