Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Governor issued an Executive Order on March 23rd, 2020 to delay the Presidential Preference Primary from April 28th, 2020 to JUNE 2nd, 2020 and to prepare for a predominantly mail ballot election.  For further detail, the Executive Order and Press Release are linked below.  

Mail Ballot Applications are available online via the Secretary of State’s website, Please note the deadline to submit completed mail ballot applications to the Town Clerk’s Office at Town Hall is May 19th, 2020 at 4pm.  Emergency Ballots begin May 20th, 2020, with a deadline of 4pm on June 1st, 2020.  Please contact the Town Clerk’s Office with any questions, or to make an appointment to vote by Emergency Ballot, at (401) 789-9331 x1230.

In person voting for the Presidential Preference Primary will be held at the Town of South Kingstown’s Community Recreation Center, located at 30 St. Dominic Road, on June 2nd, 2020 between the hours of 7am and 8pm.
