[ARCHIVED] Rose Hill Transfer Station Closure Saturday, January 29, 2022

  • Given the prediction of heavy snowfall during the pending storm and potential for “white – out” blizzard conditions, motorists are requested to refrain from any and all non-emergency driving during and after the storm in order for snowplowing crews to work as efficiently and safely as possible.

  • Sidewalk Snow Removal:  Property owners that abut sidewalks are reminded that they are responsible for sidewalk snow removal within 12 hours after storm cessation in accordance with Sec. 16-2 of the Town Code.

  • Rose Hill Transfer Station: Due to the pending storm and Saturday closure of the Central Landfill, the Rose Hill Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, January 29, 2022, and will reopen for normal business on Monday, January 31, 2022.

  • Power Outages: Please call National Grid at 1-800-465-1212 to report any power outage.  Do not rely on your neighbors to report power outages to National Grid as the power outage may be specific to your home’s electrical service.
