The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. All polling locations will be open from 7am to 8pm and a photo ID is required. View the Town of South Kingstown's Voting District Map.
You can check your voter information and polling location by visiting the RI Secretary of State's Voter Information Center.
Emergency Mail Ballot Applications will be available October 17, 2018 through November 5, 2018 at 4pm for those electors who won’t be able to go to the polls on November 6, 2018.

Deadline to Register to Vote & Make Voter Information Changes
October 7, 2018 is the last date to register to vote for the General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. The South Kingstown Public Safety Complex, 1790 Kingstown Road, Wakefield, will be open Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 8:30am through 4pm for the registration of voters. Anyone who will reach the age of eighteen (18) on or before November 6, 2018 may register by October 7, 2018 to be eligible to vote at the General Election. Those who have married and wish to have their voting records changed must re-register by October 7, 2018. Anyone who has moved within the Town must also re-register by October 7, 2018 to correct their address.
Deadline to Apply for a Mail Ballot
The deadline to apply for a Mail Ballot for the General Election to be held on November 6, 2018 is October 16, 2018. The application must be received by the South Kingstown Board of Canvassers, 180 High Street, Wakefield, RI 02879, no later than 4pm on October 16, 2018.
