Senior Services Transportation

  • Transportation is only available to South Kingstown residents who are 60 years of age or older. 
  • Call 789-0268 at least 24 hours in advance to sign up for or schedule Senior Services Transportation.
  • There is no charge for transportation to and from The Center for lunch and/or activities.   
  • The bus will pick up riders to The Center between 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
  • The bus leaves The Center promptly at 1 p.m. daily to bring riders home.
  • There is a $1.00 fee per trip to run errands such as the pharmacy, grocery store and bank.
  • Individuals requesting transportation for errands will be assigned a specific day each week.
  • Errands are run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on your scheduled day.
  • There is no transportation for medical appointments, hospital visits, or nursing home visits. 
  • If you need to cancel your transportation, please call The Center at 789-0268.
  • Inability to pay will not affect services.  Please discuss with the Senior Services Staff if the fee is a hardship for you.  
  • Riders may purchase a $10 pass at The Center, good for 10 one-way trips for any errand transportation.
