Welcome to Senior Services

Senior Center

Welcome to the South Kingstown Senior Services Department Web Site. We help "connect services to seniors".

Living longer, or longevity, is no longer the exception. Today, the gift of longevity is becoming the rule. Be sure to put this gift to use as you plan your everyday activities and relationships with others.

We are all presented with many challenges as we grow older, but we don't have to face these challenges alone. Our department has established an extensive array of activities, programs and services. These offerings are intended to enhance the quality of life for those who are aging in contemporary society; while connecting them with others who share their joys and concerns.

There is no reason to live your later years lonely and isolated. We seek to provide the information and access to federal, state and local resources that can assist you in enjoying your later life. We'll help you discover what, and who, is readily available to help you. We'll help you learn where, when and how these resources can be tapped to help you achieve "vital aging".

Many services and activities exist right here in your hometown. You may just not be fully aware of them. As this "community comes of age", be sure you take full advantage of what is available to you.

There are many individuals who when provided with the opportunity to share their skills, knowledge and abilities find that they have much to offer. Once these individuals connect with others, they find the enjoyment and satisfaction that come from sharing their activities with one another.

We invite you to explore this site, visit our facilities and "discover the possibilities"! We're convinced you'll enjoy what you find!
