Obtaining a Sewer Permit
Once all the fees have been paid, a Town Licensed drainlayer or Master Plumber may obtain a sewer permit at the Wastewater Division Office, 509 Commodore Perry Highway, Wakefield, RI. Master Plumbers must show their Master Plumber license.
Sewer Line Inspections
Sewer line inspections must be scheduled at least 48 hours before digging begins and the sewer permit must be on site in the drainlayer's or Master Plumber's possession when the inspector arrives. Call the Wastewater Division office at (401) 789-9331 extension 2257 to schedule an inspection.
