During normal working hours, contact the Public Services Department at 789-9331 extension 2250 to report snow plowing issues. For urgent, after hours snow plowing issues, call the Highway Division office at 789-9331 extension 3239 or the South Kingstown Police Department at 783-3321.
Mailbox Damage
Reduced visibility during snow events makes it difficult for drivers to see mailbox posts. If your mailbox or post is hit by a plow, contact the Public Services Department at 789-9331 extension 2250.
The Town will not repair or replace mailboxes and posts damaged by the force or placement of plowed snow.
Potholes
Town Roads: Potholes can be reported by calling the Public Services Department at 789-9331 extension 2250.
State Roads: Potholes on state roads can be reported by calling the Rhode Island Department of Transportation at 222-2378. This line is staffed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Street Light Outage

Missing Street / Traffic Signs
Report missing or damaged street and traffic signs to the Public Services Department at 789-9331 extension 2250. Most signs are replaced within 24 hours.
Dead Animals along Roadways
Report dead or injured animals within the Town or State right-of-way to the South Kingstown Police Department at 783-3321.
Drainage Problems
Call the Public Services Department at 789-9331 extension 2250 to report drainage problems. Department Staff will investigate the problem and contact you.
