Director of Adminstrative Services

- Regular Full Time

Responsible senior level management position in a suburban coastal community of 30,000+. Duties include direct involvement with labor relations and collective bargaining; contract and grievance administration and contract negotiations; administrative oversight of human resources division; grant administration, including coordination and management of Federal, State, local and private sector grant programs; municipal policy research and analysis; coordination of departmental projects/programs; staff assistance in budget development and administration; liaison to boards/commissions and various governmental agencies.

Five years experience required in a similar management position in state/local government, preferably as assistant manager or equivalent role. Strong labor relations/human resources background preferred. Masters degree in public/business administration or related field preferred. Salary commensurate with qualifications, and includes an excellent benefit package.
