The Town Council shall establish a Human Services Advisory Commission to provide advice and recommendations concerning human service needs within the community. The Commission shall have the following specific functions:*
1. Review human service needs assessment studies and develop recommendations for meeting identified service needs;
2. Evaluate Town-funded human service agencies to document administrative capacity to deliver services, to identify service duplication, and to assess program effectiveness;
3. Work with local human service agencies to improve and coordinate the delivery of services and to foster a spirit of cooperation.
* In accordance with a work session held on Monday, February 26, 1996, the Town Council placed the Human Services Advisory Commission in an inactive status.
