Brousseau Park was constructed in 1970 by the Snug Harbor - East Matunuck Civic Assocation as a memorial for William Brousseau. The civic association donated the park to the Town in 1976. The park consists of a baseball field, soccer field, lighted tennis courts, small playground, basketball court, and parking. With the various athletic fields, the park serves not only the Matunuck area as a neighborhood park, but also as a community park for athletic competitions. A majority of the park was renovated in 1997 and the tennis courts were renovated in 2002.
