 Adult Day Services
Overview
Operated by the Town of South Kingstown, The Adult Day Services Center provides an array of supportive services designed to upgrade and increase the activities of daily living for older persons dependent upon continual family support and supervision. The major goal of the program is to reduce the potential for institutionalization of dependent elderly individuals otherwise at risk, and to increase their quality of life through the enhancement of their activities of daily living.
The program provides supervised supportive care for frail elderly persons to meet the needs of the functionally impaired individual. The program also provides respite and emotional support to family caregivers.
