| Broad Rock Middle School Playfields |
The Broad Rock Playfields Project is a collaborative development between the Parks and Recreation Department and South Kingstown School Department. The first phase includes a baseball field, lighted softball field, bike path connection to Old Mountain Field, comfort station, and multi-purpose fields. Phase 1 will be open for use in the spring, 2004. Phase II includes six lighted tennis courts, youth baseball field, and exercise track. This phase will be completed by the summer, 2004. Phase III includes a bike path connection to South County Commons. This phase will be completed when funding is available. The project is supported with a $300,000 Recreation Acquisition and Development Grant from the Department of Environmental Management.
