Join us for a fun summer of programs and prizes! Along with reading for a chance to win prizes, we’ll have weekly DIY Take and Make Kits and a Photography Contest!

Reading and Prizes

Keep track via our paper form and drop it off at any branch of the South Kingstown Public Library when completed to earn a prize and be entered into our raffle.  

Every Bingo row you complete, you can earn a raffle ticket for a chance to win the prize of your choice--an Amazon Gift Card or a Wakefield Books Gift Card. Complete every square and earn a bonus entry! When you turn in your bingo sheet, you will receive a small prize (prizes available starting July 5).

Teen Summer Photography ContestTeenSummerPhotoContest

Students entering grades 7-12 are invited to enter our Teen Summer Photography Contest! You can submit one original photo in each category:

  • Summer
  • Happiness
  • Libraries, Books & Reading

Submit images in .jpg format to bfong@skpl.org by August 14. Include your name, grade, entry category, and photograph title. Entries will be shared on the library Facebook page, website, and YouTube Channel. Prizes will be announced in late August.

The statewide Rhode Island Summer Reading Program is supported by the RI Office of Library and Information Services, with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Friends of the Robert Beverly Hale Library, Friends of the Kingston Free Library, and Friends of the Peace Dale Library., and the Westerly Credit Union.
