Sex Offender Registry Information

RIGL §11-37.1-12 of the Sexual Offender Registration and Community Notification Act authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public of a sex offender's release from prison when the Sex Offender Board of Review determines that the release of information will enhance public safety and protection.

Effective January 1, 2011, The State of Rhode Island, under Rhode Island General Law 31-3.1-38, requires all vehicles that are model year 2001 or newer receive a check of the V.I.N.
